1. Introduction

Welcome to SmartChef, a mobile application developed and operated by Roman Moroz, a sole proprietor (Gewerbe) based in Germany (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our mobile application (“App”) and associated services. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By using the App, you also acknowledge and accept the contents of our Disclaimer.

If you do not agree to these Terms or do not accept the contents of the Disclaimer, please do not use the App.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, use is only allowed with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

4. Scope of Services

The App enables users to generate recipes based on ingredients and preferences. Some features are free, while others require a paid subscription (premium). Feature availability is subject to change.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Premium features can be accessed via a subscription through the App Store. Payments and cancellations are managed by Apple Inc. We do not directly store or handle payment data.

Subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
You can cancel anytime in your iTunes account settings

All prices include applicable VAT.

6. User Accounts

You must create an account to access some features. You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and must not share your account.

7. User-Generated Content

You must not submit content that is illegal, offensive, or inappropriate. We may remove or moderate such content at our discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

All content in the App is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part without our permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for damages resulting from the use of the App, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. We do not guarantee the accuracy of recipes or suitability for dietary needs.

10. Warranty

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free functionality. The App is provided "as is" without warranties.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You can delete your account via the App at any time.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes will be announced via the App. Continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

13. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by German law. Jurisdiction is Augsburg, unless otherwise required by law.
